Who do you think will end up being the Red Sox Shortstop?
I personally think Jed Lowrie. I think he is a much better player than Lugo. What do you think?
I know what you mean, saying that you kind of want Garciaparra back. As long as he isn't hurt, he does outstanding. I would trade Lugo for a no-name player, then use the extra salary to bring back Nomar.
Sox will do what they did with Dusty and just let Lowrie play and see what happens. Lugo was just another in a long string of bad SS signings and will be traded or just be a back-up.
***Nomah??? are you kiding me?? We ran him out of town in 2004 because he was a cancer. Just remember, the Sox offered him a 4yr / 60million dollar contract and he rejected it because he thought he was worth more. Now he's washed up and can't play SS anymore, plus I don't think he's even made 15mil for the 4 years since he's been gone. Was Boras his agent??? I'd rather keep Lugo.
