Baseball Photo
How do I take photos of fast sports motion and baseball players with my digital camera?
What is the best way to photograph baseball players with a camera? Set it at mode "S" then raise the shutter speed to 1000, and then raise the aperature to about 5.3?
For some reason the photo comes out too dark when I raise the shutter, but if i keep it around 15 , then the brightness is perfect but wont pick up the motion., Any suggestions?
Yes, using the shutter priority mode and setting your shutter speed to 1/1000th second is a good start, but you will have to use your light meter to figure out what f/stop to use.
Try this. Put your camera on aperture priority and open the lens all the way. If you have your ISO set high enough, your shutter speed should be fast enough (1/500th second or better).
You didn't tell use what camera and model number it is, so we really cannot be more specific.
